MEET ERICA KEITH

Raised in Philadelphia, Erica Keith enrolled at the Community College of Philadelphia, where an instructor in her drawing elective recognized her exceptional talent and encouraged her to pursue art as her major. She earned her Fine Art degree from CCP, then advanced to Temple University's Tyler School of Art for graphic design.

Hallmark Cards recruited her to Kansas City in 2002, where she quickly advanced from designer to art director for several card lines including Mahogany, collaborating with notable figures like Dr. Maya Angelou and Philly's own Jill Scott.

Today, Erica runs a successful freelance design business and serves as CEO and Founder of BLKFWD, creating products that uplift Black, Brown, and marginalized communities.

Living in Philadelphia with her husband and three children, she's looking to expand her freelance design into a full firm while continuing BLKFWD's mission to inspire and empower her community.
